HYDE PARK (CBS) – An elderly woman died in a fire at a home in Hyde Park Saturday night.
Flames broke out in the single family home on Colchester Street just before 8 p.m. and spread around the basement and first floor.
Acting Deputy Fire Chief Eric Pettaway said the unidentified woman was found outside when they arrived.
Two off-duty firefighters performed CPR on the woman before was rushed to a local hospital where she later died.
Boston Fire tweeted that one “adult male was unaccounted for early on but turned up outside okay.”
The state Medical Examiner’s office will determine the cause of the woman’s death.
There’s no word yet on how the fire started.
Damage is estimated at $150,000.

JAMAICA PLAIN (CBS) – Seven-year old twins Dyllan and Dayshaun Moore stepped into the boxing ring at American Legion Post 76 on South Street Saturday evening for a night they would never forget.
It had nothing to do with boxing.
The brothers had no idea that they were being scouted from the back of the room by their number one fan, their dad, U.S. Army Specialist Wayne Moore.
Moore just returned home from a third and final tour of Afghanistan after being gone for nearly a year.
“I am just really proud of my kids. First time I’ve seen them box since I’ve been gone, just amazing,” he told WBZ-TV.
Moore had the distinct honor of presenting his two sons with trophies.
Both kids were really surprised to see their dad step into the ring.
“He said he was coming home on Tuesday,” Dyllan exclaimed.
